This is a slow burning and entertaining thriller with red herrings and likable characters. Kim is a down to earth woman who never gives up hope of finding out what happened. I liked that Sophie the mystery writer turned into Sophie the detective. Her author’s curiosity and imagination couldn’t let go of the real life mystery before her.
The narration by Joanne Froggatt is excellent. She does an exceptional job voicing Kim’s heartbreak, hope, and determination. Her narration was riveting and I enjoyed listening. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
