Some stories don’t just move you. They linger in your bones.
In Life, and Death, and Giants, Ron Rindo tells the story of Gabriel Fisher, a remarkably large and gifted child born into a small Amish community in Wisconsin, whose extraordinary life reshapes the beliefs and relationships of those around him.
This is a character driven story about found family, faith, and love. I adored everything about it. The story is told through multiple pov from the people closest Gabriel. I loved the chapters told by Hannah, Gabriel’s maternal grandmother. Her quiet dignity and grace is beautiful. I highly recommend the full cast audiobook. All the narrators did outstanding work bringing Rindo’s characters and words to life. And have tissues ready when you read this book. Trust me, you’ll need them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Have you ever read a story that felt like it changed something inside you?
