This is a stunning debut novel. It’s a beautifully written and character driven story filled with heartfelt emotions.
A family and a small community tries to come to grips when a 13 year old girl kills her older brother. Was she mad at him? Was she jealous of him? Was it an act of mercy? Small towns have secrets and secrets have consequences.

Seriously, this one has something for everyone. It tugs at the heartstrings, but doesn’t over do it. It is powerful story of loss, grief, family, and forgiveness. I listened to the audiobook and it was excellent.
Thérèse Plummer’s narration is perfection. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
QOTD: any plans for the weekend?
None here. We might get some snow on Saturday, so we’ll probably just hunker down, read, and watch some college basketball.
